AKEP was represented by the Chairman of the Authority, Mr. Gentian Sala; Member of the Steering Council, Mr. Bleron Dokle; Chief of Cabinet, Ms. Sara Xhumbari; and Director of the Regulatory and Market Supervision Directorate, Mr. Gazmir Mani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was attended by senior executives of postal operators, including administrators, legal representatives, and technical experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The need to strengthen inspections of authorized providers to ensure compliance with existing legal obligations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Recurring issues related to service quality and non-compliance with established standards, leading to user dissatisfaction and complaints;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Inaccuracies in address data and accompanying shipment information, which continue to cause delays and delivery problems, undermining service reliability – highlighting the urgent need to establish a national address register with accurate citizen addresses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
A key discussion point was also the importance of full, accurate, and up-to-date publication of information by postal operators, ensuring that citizens have access to transparent and reliable data, as guaranteed by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In conclusion, AKEP reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with responsible state institutions – such as the General Directorate of Taxation, the Customs Directorate, the State Police, and other key market stakeholders – with the aim of creating a competitive, safe, and transparent environment in the postal sector.
