AKEP attended the 67th meeting of the BEREC Board of Regulators (Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications), represented by Ms Edlira Dvorani, member of the Steering Council of AKEP.
During the meeting, the most important developments in the electronic communications sector in Europe were discussed, including the Digital Networks Act, the open internet, roaming, the evolution of mobile networks, international cooperation and the priorities of the BEREC Work Programme for 2027.
AKEP’s participation in BEREC activities contributes to the exchange of experience with European counterpart authorities and also to the further alignment of the Albanian regulatory framework with the standards and best practices of the European Union in the field of electronic communications.
AKEP holds the observer status at BEREC, participating actively in European regulatory cooperation processes and also in discussions on policies that affect the future of electronic communications in Europe.
