At the premises of the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP), an official visit was held today by a delegation from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), led by the Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT), Mr. Cosmas Zavazava, and Mr. Jaroslaw Ponder, Director of the ITU Office for Europe.
The ITU delegation was received by representatives of AKEP: Mr. Bleron Dokle, Member of the Steering Council, Mr. Lorenc Bako, Advisor of the Chairman and Ms. Elkeda Domi, Director of the Directorate of Administration and Management of Limited Resources .
During the meeting, the parties assessed the cooperation to date and emphasized the importance of further strengthening inter-institutional relations. Discussions also focused on the continued support of ITU in integrating Albania into regional and international initiatives and projects, with a particular focus on enhancing technical and professional capacities in the electronic communications sector.
AKEP expressed its readiness to deepen cooperation with ITU and to actively contribute to regional and global developments in this field.
